Kindness seems to be a disappearing value. In our opinion-driven world, outrage and insults are commonplace. Examples of kindness are harder to find – in our civic leaders and among our neighbors. Have we lost our capacity for kindness? Or have we just become so demanding of others – and ourselves – that we leave no room for kindness? Can embracing the spirit life help us live more intentionally in an anxious, immediate, and results-driven world?
