Of the nine “fruits of the spirit,” the first three are foundational. They go together so well that we even have a summer camp song about them (Peace Like a River). We all seek love. We all want to maximize joy. And we desperately need peace. Maybe instead of thinking of them as separate pursuits in and of themselves, we can lean into the Spirit to find more love, joy, and peace in our lives.
