An ongoing rotation of short-term group studies with varying topics that meets every Thursday evening, September-May, from 6:30-7:30 in Room 122. Each TNT Group Study typically lasts from 2-6 weeks and is featured among the church’s Thursday Night Together offerings, which start with a community meal at 5:45PM.

This group focuses on various biblical passages each week, and shares a time for song and prayer. They meet every Thursday morning, year-round, from 9:30-11:30 in Room 121.
Spiritual Fitness Prayer and Study Group meets weekly year-round on Saturday mornings from 8:15-10:00 in Room 121. This group nurtures growing Christian faith by reading and discussing books of the Bible and contemporary religious books, plus a time for prayer.
Agape is an interdenominational/ecumenical group, made up of COTS and non-COTS members alike. They meet weekly year-round on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:00PM in the church Sanctuary for a short (~30 minutes), contemplative worship time that consists of reading a night prayer liturgy, singing meditative songs (often Taize), and shared prayer. After worship, participants often visit a Cedar-Lee establishment for social time. Most participants are young adults though all age groups are welcome. The group is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

United Women in Faith is a deep-rooted organization with over 100+ years of history. Its members are women driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on nurthering women, children, and youth, they act for justice and transform communities through a dedication to mission work. General meetings take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00AM. They typically consist of a lecture followed by a brown-bag lunch. The UWF lead many other gatherings and initiatives at various times throughout the year.
Sojourn meets weekly year-round on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. at in COTS Room 121 and via Zoom, except the 3rd Monday of every month, when they meet at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom only. Sojourn is open to all women and focused on Bible study and prayer, with shared leadership.
This group is a place of open discussion where participants reflect upon the week’s sermon. The members are encouraged to bring their experiences, questions, and musings to the table to discuss the real, and often messy, truth of life. Alethis meets every Sunday from 11:00AM-12:00PM, September-May, in the church parlor.
The Seekers Sunday school class is a traditional Bible study group. All are invited to become part of the class, learning together, as they study God’s Holy Word, while sharing with and uplifting one another. Seekers meets from 9:30-10:30AM every Sunday from September-May in Room 228.
This class aims to enhance our ability to witness to others as we explore such themes as creation, justice, tradition, community, and the saving power of Jesus Christ through learning and sharing of the Bible. It meets every Sunday morning, year-round, from 9:30-10:30AM in Room 121.
This group meets for Bible study, Christian book discussions, and prayer every Sunday from September-May in Room 121. Sessions are open and interactive, rather than a teacher lecturing. We encourage each other to grow in Christ, supporting each other in study and prayer through the ups and downs of life. Occasional social gatherings extend our group fellowship beyond Sunday mornings.
This group meets every Sunday, year-round, from 11:00AM-12:00PM in COTS Room 100. Class members take turns leading the discussion based on a study book or books of the Bible selected by the class.

A weekly presenter – either a guest speaker of member from the group – addresses a topic of current interest from a Christian perspective. Kingsley meets Sundays in September-May, from 9:30-10:30AM in COTS Room 122.
This group meets the second Monday of the month year-round in Room 122 from 6:30 – 8:00PM. It’s purpose is to facilitate discussion surrounding the challenges faced by individuals who care for loved ones with dementia. Leaders of the group are two church members who have both completed training through the Alzheimer’s Association and have personal family experience with this difficult diagnosis.
